!!!!!SOLD!!!!! This is a 1/4 scale Springfield flintlock musket made by Harvey Geyer of Dayton, Ohio circa. 1915 – 1925. 15 1/4″ long overall with an 11″ round barrel of about .215 caliber. Steel lock assembly, sideplate, barrel, triggerguard, trigger, ramrod, sling swivels, and band retainers. Silver barrel bands and buttplate. One piece straight grain walnut stock. The hammer has both half and full cock. The barrel is bored through to the touch hole. Complete with a beautiful leather sling with silver buckle, and the original Geyer hinged top oak casing. The casing interior French fit and lined in a brown leather. The top of the casing with an old sticker with hand written “HARVEY GEYER, DAYTON, OHIO, Cir -1915 – 1925, Chief Engineer, INLAND MFG. CO.” in five lines. The bottom of the casing with a gold oval inventory tag marked “JOSEPH A. MURPHY, Ph.D., 441, NEW HOPE, PA” in three lines.
