Project Description

This is a 1/3 scale French model 1822 martial pistol, converted to percussion, & made by Gilbert Ball of France about 25 years ago.  4 3/4″ long overall with a 2 1/2″ smoothbore barrel of .281 caliber.  Steel construction finished in the white.  One piece straight grain walnut stock.  The top barrel tang marked “M. 1822”.  The lockplate marked “Mre Re, de Mutzig” in script.  The hammer has both half & full cock.  The number 05 is stamped into the left rear of the barrel, and the left side of the stock behind the side plate.  Near mint condition just showing some minor signs of handling.  Price:  $650.00.
