!!!!!ON LAY-A-WAY!!!!! George Jones Miniature Spanish Military Crossbow !!!!!ON LAY-A-WAY!!!!!

!!!!!ON LAY-A-WAY!!!!!  This is a miniature Spanish military crossbow made by master miniaturist George Jones.  4 3/8″ long with a 2 7/8″ steel bow with a browned finish.  The bow stock is made of wood, I’m not sure what kind.   The bow string is multi strand, & wrapped.  There is a brass trough lining the top of the bow where the bolt would rest when loaded.  Complete with the wood cocking tool, & base.  There is more going on here than I know how to describe, so look the photos over closely & see the skill, workmanship, & attention to details.  Marked on the stand base “20 GJ 05, MADE FOR KENNITH WHICHARD, JR.
