!!!!!SOLD!!!!! This isn’t a miniature, but I thought it was interesting enough that someone out there might like to buy it, so here it is. Full size brass percussion door alarm gun made by Frail & Co. Yellow brass construction except for the steel bottom spikes and the screws. 5 3/4″ long overall with a 2 9/32″ barrel of about .45 caliber. This would be wedged under the door, and if someone tried to open it, it would trip the exposed trigger setting off a blank charge of black powder making an incredible amount of noise. Both sides stamped “FRAIL & Co, REGISTERED, 1767” in three lines. Checkered hammer spur. The 1767 is way too early for a percussion ignition system, so it must be some kind of registered number. Perfect working condition. The brass with an obvious dark aged patina and a little rust on the nipple. Really cool, and not something you see every day! !!!!!SOLD!!!!!
