!!!!!SOLD!!!!! Full Size .750 Nitro Express Dummy Cartridge, Very Rare! !!!!!SOLD!!!!!

!!!!!SOLD!!!!!  Now for something totally different!  This is a full size .750 Nitro Express cartridge.  3 7/16″ long overall, 3 17/32″ case length, .745 diameter projectile that weighs 2.6 ounces!  No primer or powder, but it takes a Browning .50 caliber machine gun cartridge primer.  Laser headstamped by me when I worked for Imperial Miniature Armory with a YAG laser.  My boss back then, Joel Morrow, had a double rifle made in this caliber, and as far as I know it is the only rifle ever made in this caliber.  He was going to use it on elephants.  Never happened.  The cartridge case & projectile were made by Barnes Bullets in Utah.  Initial test loads in a test barrel showed recoil to be eight times a .460 Weatherby Magnum!  It was then worked down with a lighter projectile & powder charge, but I don’t know what the final results were.  Only a small handful of cases & projectiles were made.  !!!!!SOLD!!!!!
