Project Description

!!!!!SOLD!!!!!  It’s not a miniature, but it is the worlds smallest commercially made firing semi automatic pistol, and lots of miniature collectors collect these, or at least want one example for their collections.  The Kolibri 2.7 mm centerfire semi-automatic pistols were patented in 1910 and made by Franz Pfannl in Germany from about 1914 until just post WW1.   2 5/8″ long overall with a 1 1/4″ barrel of about .108 caliber.  Steel construction with two piece black plastic grips.  The grips held in place by a single screw on each side with no escutcheons.  This piece was originally nickel plated, but the plating has flaked off & the under lying steel polished to a nickel like finish.  The grips are excellent with no cracks or chips.  Unlike many of these pistols, this one is in excellent mechanical condition, and everything works as it should.  Complete with an old hinged top black leather casing with two hook swing latches, an ivory handled cleaning/extractor rod, and a reproduction sheet metal cartridge box.  This little pistol is a firearm, and all FFL rules apply.  May be shipped directly to a C & R license holder.  Stock # FD-1. !!!!!SOLD!!!!!
