Project Description
!!!!!SOLD!!!!! It’s not a miniature, but it is the worlds smallest commercially made semi automatic centerfire pistol, and lots of miniature collectors collect these, or at least want one example for their collections. The Kolibri 2.7 mm centerfire semi-automatic pistols were patented in 1910 and made by Franz Pfannl in Germany from about 1914 until just post WW 1. 2 3/4″ long overall with a 1 3/8″ barrel of about .108 caliber. Nickel plated steel construction, with two piece mother of pearl grips. The grips held in place by a single screw on each side with no escutcheons. The grips are excellent with no cracks or chips. Unlike many of these pistols, this one has absolutely no mechanical issues, everything works as it should. The barrel, trigger, and magazine are all stamped with the number “13”. The left side marked near the safety “SUR” and “FEW”. The left sideplate marked “PF ANNL’S AUTOMATIC-PISTOL” Includes the original Pfannl hinged top green cloth covered casing with push button latch. The interior bottom French fit and lined in a buff/gold felt. The interior lid lined in a buff/gold silk with the Kolibri logo. Included is an original full tin box of 12 original 2.7 mm centerfire cartridges. Also included is a spare blue magazine with one additional original cartridge. This is one of the finest 2.7 mm Kolibri pistols I have ever been able to offer for sale with easily over 95+% of the original bright nickel finish intact. The spare magazine, which is almost unheard of, is probably worth in excess of $500.00 by itself! The This little pistol is a firearm, and all FFL/C&R rules apply. !!!!!SOLD!!!!!
