Project Description

!!!!!SOLD!!!!!  It’s not a miniature, but it is the worlds smallest commercially made semi automatic centerfire pistol, and lots of miniature collectors collect these, or at least want one example for their collections.  The Kolibri 2.7 mm centerfire semi-automatic pistols were patented in 1910 and made by Franz Pfannl in Germany from about 1914 until just post WW 1.   2 3/4″ long overall with a 1 3/8″ barrel of about .108 caliber.  Nickel plated steel construction, with the original two piece black plastic grips.  The left grip checkered with the “FP” log in an oval over the screw.  The right grip checkered with the “FP” logo in an oval over the screw and the bottom marked “KOLIBRI” in raides letter in a raides rectangular curved banner.  The grips held in place by a single screw on each side with no escutcheons.  The grips are excellent with no cracks or chips.  Unlike many of these pistols, this one has absolutely no mechanical issues, everything works as it should.  The left side of the barrel stamped “82085 . 13 & a proof mark.   The left side marked near the safety “SUR” and “FEW”.  The left sideplate marked “PFANNL’S AUTOMATIC-PISTOL”  This piece has been re-nickeled, and shows some remaining pitting under the replated finish, but still a nice looking & functional piece.  This little pistol is a firearm, and all FFL/C&R rules apply.  Stock # CG-05.  !!!!!SOLD!!!!!
