Project Description
!!!!!SOLD!!!!! It’s not a miniature, but it is the worlds smallest commercially made semi automatic centerfire pistol, and lots of miniature collectors collect these, or at least want one example for their collections.  The Kolibri 2.7 mm centerfire semi-automatic pistols were patented in 1910 and made by Franz Pfannl in Germany from about 1914 until just post WW 1.  2 3/4″ long overall with a 1 3/8″ barrel of about .108 caliber. Steel construction with a high polish blue finish, with two black plastic grips.  The grips held in place by a single screw on each side with no escutcheons. The grips are excellent with no cracks or chips. Unlike many of these pistols, this one has absolutely no mechanical issues, everything works as it should. The barrel & trigger are stamped with the number “14”.  The left side marked near the safety “SUR” and “FEU”. The barrel & slide both marked with proof marks. Includes the original Pfannl hinged top pale green cloth covered casing with push button latch. The interior bottom French fit and lined in an olive green felt. The interior lid lined in an off white silk with the Kolibri logo. Included is an original full lift top tin box of 12 original 2.7 mm centerfire cartridges. Also included is the original twisted wire cleaning brush which is nearly always missing. This is one of the finest 2.7 mm Kolibri pistols with blue finish I have ever been able to offer for sale with easily over 85% original blue finish overall! High condition Kolibris in blue are exceptionally rare, much more so than the nickel plated examples! The original case shows some small flaking spots on the lid & edge wear. The interior lid lining shows some staining. The This little pistol is a firearm, and all FFL/C&R rules apply. Stock # CK-212. !!!!!SOLD!!!!!
