!!!!!SOLD!!!!! Four Bore Big Game Rifle Cartridge For Dangerous Game, Modern Made For An Antique Rifle !!!!!SOLD!!!!!

!!!!!SOLD!!!!!  This is another big cartridge from my collection, a four bore, or four gauge rifle cartridge.  This was made by Lewis Drake & Associates about 30 years ago for an antique four bore single shot rifle, the type used for dangerous big game back in the 1880’s.  These were not very fast, but had a massive projectile.  4 3/16″ long overall with a case length of 3 1/2″ and a conical nose lead projectile diameter of .855.  Headstamped on the outer edge “4  R. B. RODDA & CO.  4  LONDON & CALCUTTA“.  And inside that “LEWIS DRAKE & ASSOCIATES“.  I have never seen or heard of another.  !!!!!SOLD!!!!!
