!!!!!SOLD!!!!! This is a 1/2 scale miniature 1928 AC Thompson sub-machine gun made by the legendary Edmund de la Garrigue. 17″ long overall, the finned & rifled barrel measures 6 1/2″ long including the Cutts compensator. Beautiful high polish blue finish. This piece has the correct markings roll stamped into the sides of the receiver along with Mr. de la Garrigue’s maker’s mark on the left side of the upper receiver. Serial # 1019 marked on the left side of the upper receiver. Nicely figured walnut stock. The pistol grip, and vertical pistol grip forearm are straight grain walnut. Includes a 50 round “L” type drum magazine. The drum is complete with the internal feed star, but typical of de la Garrigue Thompsons with drum magazines, does not have the spring or cartridge feed rails. Detachable buttstock, the buttplate with a trap door for an oiler (not included). Beautiful Cutts compensator. Has the base for the Lyman windage and elevation adjustable rear sight with the correct Lyman markings, but again typical of the de la Garrigue Thompsons, the rest of the rear sight is missing. Complete with a very nice violin, or more probably actually ukulele casing. The interior bottom French fit and lined in a dark blue velour. Also includes a 1/2 scale Thompson handbook, an empty box of .25 ACP cartridges, and a black engraved plaque marked “GREETINGS, FROM , AL CAPONE” in three lines. Beautiful near mint condition showing only very minor handling wear, and just a little rust on the top tang of the buttplate. !!!!!SOLD!!!!!
