Project Description

!!!!!SOLD!!!!!  This is a 47% scale hand tooled brown right hand miniature holster & gun belt rig made by E.L. Brown of Old Pueblo Leather in Tucson, Arizona.  This is made to fit the Uberti 47% scale Colt 1851 Navy, 1860 Army, and 1861 Navy percussion revolvers.  This will also work for a 7 1/2″ single action army revolver and may have actually been made for that revolver as I can see the impression of the ejector housing in the leather, but there are no cartridge loops.  The brown leather holster is a slim Jim design, unlined, and is hand tooled with a single yellow brass rivet.  The back side of the holster is marked with the maker’s stamp and reads “OLD PUEBLO LEATHER, E. L. BROWN, MAKER, TUCSON, AZ” in four lines.  The belt is 17 7/8″ long overall with a nickel plated buckle, some handsome tooling, and some engraved yellow brass conchos and rivets.  The conchos with an impressed five point star design.  The belt is not marked with the maker’s stamp, but is very obviously made by the same maker and for this holster.  There is some green verdigris around most of the rivets and conchos.  This is a pretty normal condition and a result of chemicals used in the tanning process reacting with the metal.  It will clean off fairly easily with a stiff bristle brush.  Really nice work and very authentic looking.  !!!!!SOLD!!!!!
