Project Description

This is a hand tooled brown right hand miniature holster & gun belt rig made by E.L. Brown of Old Pueblo Leather in Tucson, Arizona.  This is made to fit the Uberti 47% scale Colt 1851 Navy, 1860 Army, and 1861 Navy percussion revolvers.  The brown leather holster is a single loop design, unlined, and is hand tooled with nickel silver rivets and a nickel silver engraved concho.  The back side of the holster is marked with the maker’s stamp and reads “OLD PUEBLO LEATHER, E. L. BROWN, MAKER, TUCSON, AZ” in four lines.  The belt is 22 1/4″ long overall with a nickel plated buckle, some handsome tooling, and some engraved nickel silver conchos and nickel silver rivets.  The belt is also marked with the maker’s stamp on the outside near the buckle.  There is some green verdigris around most of the rivets and conchos.  This is a pretty normal condition and a result of chemicals used in the tanning process reacting with the metal.  It will clean off fairly easily with a stiff bristle brush.  Really nice work and very authentic looking.  Price:  $200.00.
