Dr. John Cooper 1/6 scale Delvigne Single Shot 2mm Pinfire Derringer

This is a 1/6 scale Delvigne single shot derringer made by Dr. John Cooper that shoots the 2mm pinfire cartridges.  1 7/16″ long overall with a 3/4″ barrel of .084 caliber.  Beautiful fire blued steel barrel & screws, the balance of the pistol is steel finished in the white.  Two piece ivory grips with brass escutcheons and a single screw entering from the left side.  The hammer has both half & full cock.  The barrel pivots to the left to load, & the hammer should be brought to half cock before doing so.  Dr. Cooper is known for his three books on miniatures:  Early Miniature Firearms, German Miniature Revolvers 1890 – 1940, & Belgian Miniature Firearms of the Nineteenth Century.  Dr. Cooper’s was from England.  His miniatures are rare & seldom seen in the U.S..  Stock # CK-86.  Price:  $2,250.00.
