Project Description
!!!!!SOLD!!!!! This is a 1/4 scale miniature single shot break open shotgun made by master miniature maker Dr. John Cooper of England, about 35 – 40 years ago. 11 3/8″ long overall with a 7 7/16″ round smoothbore barrel of about .172 caliber. The action is opened by moving the tang lever to the right, then bending the barrel down. The barrel, receiver, and triggerguard are a pleasing smooth blue with some areas turning a brown patina. The sling swivels & buttplate screws a brilliant fire blue. Serrated black plastic buttplate. Two piece maple stocks with an oil finish. The action is fully functional with working firing pin and ejector. I thought it was just an extractor, but when I loaded the dummy shotshell, closed the breech, then opened it, the shotshell flew across the room! The shotgun is in excellent condition. Includes one dummy shotshell cartridge contained in a small glass test tube with cork stopper. Complete with the original Cooper walnut hinged top case with flip latch. The interior English fit & lined in green felt. Bought from Dr. Cooper by Ralph Koebbeman in 1990. Stock # CK-89. !!!!!SOLD!!!!!
