!!!!!SOLD!!!!! This is a scrimshawed ivory grip made by master ivory carver Dennis Holland of Texas to fit the Uberti or United States Historical Society 47% scale Colt 1851 or 1861 Navy percussion revolvers. The grip is made in three pieces, two outside ivory panels, with a wood spacer block between. The right side is beautifully scrimshawed with a spread winged American eagle, with a U.S. flag, a shield, and arrows and olive branches in the eagle’s talons. The wood spacer block is marked in pencil 61 N for 1861 Navy, but it should also fit the 1851 Navy. Not guaranteed to fit, as the grips are all very slightly different because of the way the grips are fit to the miniatures at the factory, though it should be pretty close. !!!!!SOLD!!!!!
