Project Description

!!!!!SOLD!!!!!  This is a scrimshawed bone grip made by master carver Dennis Holland of Lubbock, Texas for the Uberti or USHS Colt 1860 Army percussion or 1873 single action army revolvers .  The two sides are made of bone with a wood block spacer in between so it looks like a one piece grip.  The right side is beautifully scrimshawed with an American eagle with Shield, flag, olive branches, and arrows, which would have been typical and popular motif during the 1860 – 1900 period.  The left side plain.  The bone has a nice mellow aged patina.  Since all grips are slightly different, these are not guaranteed to fit.  You may have to fit the grip to the miniature revolver, or you may have to fit the miniature revolver to the grip, just like with full size revolvers!  The grip is in excellent mint new as made condition.  Really great looking and would look great on your miniature 1860 or SAA Colt! !!!!!SOLD!!!!!
