Project Description
Returned to Consignor. This is a custom “one of a kind” inline twin cylinder two stroke ignition engine made by the late Dennis Fadden. Dennis is well known among model aircraft engine collectors and his engines are highly sought after. This engine is Mr. Fadden’s design and was made by him as well. The crankcase, engine mount, and the lower part of the cylinders are what look to me to be bead blasted machined aluminum. The upper cylinders, cylinder heads, and prop washer are machine aluminum. The crankshaft, drive washer, and prop nut are steel in the white. The exhaust pipes are steel and painted black. The hardware is all blackened Allen head machine screws. The carburetor is an updraft design and is mounted on the bottom of the engine. The electronic ignition module is mounted at the rear of the engine with the spark plug leads running from there to the tips of the spark plugs. The bore is .800 and the stroke is .800 giving each cylinder a displacement of .402, for a total displacement of .804. Mint new condition. Returned to Consignor.
