This is a full scale reproduction of the Remington rider percussion vest pocket pistol made by David Pedersoli in Italy. 4 11/16″ long overall with a 3 1/8″ button rifled barrel, with 10 lands & 10 grooves, of .175 caliber, or 4.5mm. The pistol is all steel, including the grip. The one piece frame, barrel, & right grip are case colored, as is the removable left side plate & grip. The balance of the parts are blued. The hammer has full cock only, and has a serrated spur. Round post front sight, dovetailed “V” notch rear sight. There are markings on the left upper frame flat, on the left side of the frame, & the left side of the barrel that are shown the the photos. Serial # H11952. The pistol has a removable percussion chamber that is intended to take a # 11 percussion cap & a .177″ lead ball. It is expressly stated NOT to use steel BB’s, or any type of additional powder or propellant, only the # 11 percussion cap. The chamber is removed by cocking the hammer, lifting the lever on the right upwards, then pulling it backwards to remove for loading, much like operating a bolt action rifle. The piece is pristine new in the original box with the original owners manual, warranty card, safety instructions, plastic bag, and a photocopy of the original Dixie Gun Works catalog page. This is not considered to be a firearm, & no FFL is required. Can be legally owned and shipped to MOST states, check your local laws.
