This is a 1/3 scale Winchester Model 1866 octagon barreled rifle made by master miniature maker David Kucer of Canada.  14 15/8″ long overall with a 8″ rifled octagon barrel of .132 caliber.  Blue finished machined steel except for the brass frame, sideplates cartridge lifter, crescent buttplate, and buttplate trap door.  Mechanically fully functional.  Blued flip rear sight, the blued front sight dovetailed into the front of the barrel.  Checkered hammer spur, the hammer with both half & full cock.  Two piece ivory stocks with some nice figure & a pleasing aged patina.  The top of the barrel marked “WINCHESTER’S REPEATING ARMS NEW HAVEN CT, KING’S IMPROVEMENT – PATENTED MARCH 29 1866 OCTOBER 16 1860” in two lines.  The bottom tang marked “D. KUCER” & “9”.  Functional buttplate trap door which contains the original four piece steel cleaning rod which is finished in the white.  Complete with the original Kucer hinged top oak case with two ivory push button latches.  The top right front corner inlaid with a rectangular escutcheon of the Kucer coat of arms.  The case interior French fit & lined in a tan felt.  Near mint condition, I’d call it 99%, with only some expected age patina to the brass parts.  This is the first one of these I have ever been able to offer for sale in over 30 years!  Stock # CK-155.  Price:  $7,500.00.
