Project Description

!!!!!SOLD!!!!!  This is a 1/3 scale Smith & Wesson Russian large frame break open revolver made by master miniature maker David Kucer of Montreal, Canada.  4 /8″ long overall with a 2 3/16″ round barrel with top rib.  Machined steel construction with a black blue finish with some areas turned a plum brown/purple. The hammer, triggerguard, & trigger case colored.  Two piece mother of pearl grips with brass escutcheons and a single screw entering from the left side.  The grip screw finished in the white.  Pinned front & fixed rear sights.  The side buttons of the opening lever, the hammer spur, and a piece on the front bottom of the frame are checkered.   The serial # “1” stamped into the bottom of the butt.  Mechanically functional but non-firing.  Complete with the original Kucer hinged top walnut case with key lock, but no key.  The top front right corner of the lid has the typical Kucer coat of arms oval escutcheon.  The interior French fit & lined in a purple felt, the interior top is padded.  Excellent near mint condition except for the above mentioned finish turning and a very minor small area of pitting on the cylinder behind one of the flutes which is barely noticeable, priced accordingly.  I don’t know how many of these David made, but this is the first one I have ever seen in over 32 years in the miniature firearms business!  CK-148.  !!!!!SOLD!!!!!
