!!!!!PRICE REDUCED!!!!! This is a 1/3 scale Smith & Wesson # 2 Army revolver made by master miniaturist David Kucer of Canada. 3 1/2″ long overall with a 2″ octagon barrel with top rib. Machined steel construction with a beautiful highly polished blue finish. Sheet steel rear sight & brass front sight. Two piece ivory grips with brass escutcheons and a single screw entering from the left side. The grips just starting to develop a patina & with a nice grain showing on the bottom. Fully mechanically functional. Checkered hammer spur. The top of the barrel engraved “SMITH & WESSON SPRINGFIELD, MASS.”. The bottom of the barrel marked ” D. KUCER” & the serial # “8”. The middle of the cylinder very finely engraved “PATENTED APRIL 5, 1855, JULY 5, 1859, & DEC 19, 186”, wrapping around the cylinder. The zero is missing from the 1860 date or so weak I can’t read it. Complete with the original Kucer birds eye maple lift top case with magnetic closures. The case top with an inlaid oval silver colored escutcheon of the Kucer coast of arms & inlaid silver corners held in place by a single screw on each. The interior bottom English fit & lined in a light olive felt. The interior lid padded & lined in an off white silk with the Kucer coat of arms logo in the center in black. Accessories include a steel cleaning rod finished in the white & an empty miniature cartridge box picturing the S & W # 2 revolver. Beautiful mint new condition.
