Project Description

!!!!!SOLD!!!!  This is a 1/3 scale Colt New Service .45 caliber revolver made by master miniature maker David Kucer of Montreal, Canada.  3 13/16″ long overall with a 1 15/16″ round rifled barrel. Machined steel construction with a black blue finish except for the sides of the hammer & trigger which are polished in the white.  Two piece smooth ebony grips with brass escutcheons & a single screw entering from the left side.  The top of the barrel marked “COLT’S PT. F.A. CO. HARTFORD, CT. U.S.A., PAT’D AUG. 5 1884 JUNE 5 1900 JULY 4 1905” in two lines.  The left side of the barrel marked “NEW SERVICE 45”.  The rampant Colt horse logo stamped into the left rear of the frame.  The serial number “3” stamped into the left front of the frame only visible when the cylinder is swung out.  The end of the cylinder pin & the hammer spur are checkered.  There is a lanyard loop on the pistol butt.  Fully mechanically functional but non-firing.  Excellent near mint condition showing only some wear on the left side of the frame where the cylinder release has been worked.  I’d call it 99%+.  Complete with the original Kucer hinged top oak case with key lock, but no key.  The case interior French fit & lined in red felt.  The interior lid is padded.  There is some oil staining the the interior lining.  I don’t know how many of these he made, but this is the first one I’ve ever seen in my over 32 years dealing in miniatures!  Stock # CK-156.  !!!!!SOLD!!!!!
