!!!!!SOLD!!!!! This is a 1/3 scale Colt 1911 semi-automatic pistol with original holster & casing made by master miniature maker David Kucer of Montreal, Canada. 2 7/8″ long overall with a 1 3/16″ rifled barrel of about .15 caliber. High polished blue finish with the exception of the barrel & trigger which are finished in the white. The hammer is blued with the sides polished in the white. Standard staked Colt front sight with a dovetailed rear sight. The rear of the slide serrated on both sides. Checkered hammer spur, slide release, magazine release, and thumb safety. The left side of the slide marked “PATENTED APR 20 1897 SEPT 19 1902, (Rampant Colt logo) COLTS PT F A CO, DEC 19 1905 AUG 19 1913 (Same Rampant Colt logo) HARTFORD CT U S A” in two lines. The right side of the slide marked “COLT AUTOMATIC, CALIBRE 45” in two lines. The right side of the frame between the grip and the slide release pin marked “GOVERNMENT MODEL, C 1 4” in two lines and also marked in front of the slide release pin “D KUCER”. I believe the “4” is the serial number as I think he only made 10 of these. Straight mainspring housing with the lanyard loop on the bottom. High relief carved ivory grips depicting a flying spread winged eagle on both sides, the eagles with black bead eyes. The grips held in place by two screws on each side. Included is a tan leather G.I. type flap holster, the flap stamped with the impressed US in an oval. Rosewood hinged top casing with a full length hinge and a checkered oval push button latch. The top right front case corner has the typical Kucer coat of arms escutcheon inlet into the wood. The interior, both top and bottom, is French fit and lined in a dark burgundy felt, with the pistol on the bottom and the holster in the lid. A beautiful piece in mint new condition. This is only the second one of these I have every had the pleasure to offer for sale. The other one with typical Colt checkered double diamond grips & serial # 3. Stock # CK-162. !!!!!SOLD!!!!!
