This is a 1/3 scale Colt 1911 A1semi-automatic pistol with original case made by master miniature maker David Kucer of Montreal, Canada.  2 7/8″ long overall with a 1 3/16″ rifled barrel of about .15 caliber.  High polished blue finish with the exception of the barrel which is finished in the white & the top & front bottom of the slide which has a matt blue finished.  Standard staked Colt front sight with a dovetailed “U” notch rear sight.  The rear of the slide serrated on both sides.  Serrated hammer spur.  Checkered slide release, magazine release, mainspring bushing, and thumb safety.  The front left side of the slide marked “PATENTED APR. 20, 1897, SEPT. 9, 1902.  COLT’S PT. F.A. CO; DEC. 19, 1905, FEB. 14, 1911, AUG. 19, 1913, in two lines.  Behind that it’s marked “COLT’S PT. F.A. CO., HARTFORD, CT. U.S.A.” in two lines.  Then the left rear of the slide with the Colt rampant colt logo.  The right side of the slide marked “COLT AUTOMATIC, CALIBRE 45” in two lines.  The right side of the frame marked “GOVERNMENT MODEL, C 4” in two lines, “5” being the serial number.  Serrated arched mainspring housing with the lanyard loop on the bottom.  Two piece checkered ivory grips with two screws on each side.  Blued steel magazine with no lanyard loop on the bottom.  Functional grip & thumb safeties.  The hinged top case is made of walnut with finger jointed corners, and a key lock, but no key.  Not to worry this case does not lock upon closing!    The case interior is French fit and lined in a purple felt.  The top right front corner of the case top inlaid with the typical oval Kucer coat of arms brass escutcheon.  A beautiful piece in near mint new condition except for some of the frame has turned to a plum brown color.  This is only the second one of these I have ever had the pleasure to offer for sale, & the first with checkered ivory grips.    !!!!!SOLD!!!!!
