!!!!!SOLD!!!!! Daniel Osterman Original Cased Pair Of Gold Plated Colt # 1 Derringers In Original Box, Serial #’s 3 & 4 !!!!!SOLD!!!!!

!!!!!SOLD!!!!!  This is an original cased pair of gold plated 1/2 scale Colt No. 1 derringers made by master miniature maker Daniel Osterman of Oregon. Each derringer measures 2 7/16″ long overall with a 1 1/4″ rifled barrel.  Nicely engraved on the barrel, frame, and side plate.  Three oval checkered panels, one on each side of the grip and one at the rear of the grip.  The butt marked D.E.O.+.  Checkered hammer spur with the sighting notch & checkered barrel release.  Fire blue screws and barrel release.  The hammer case hardened with polished sides.  The top flat of the barrel hand engraved with the proper Colt barrel address .  The serial numbers 3 & 4 stamped into the bottom of the barrel near the frame.  Only the first 50 were serial numbered.  Complete with the original Osterman manila cardboard lift top box with exterior lid label.  The box bottom interior French fit to what looks to be an unlined solid ebony block.  Most of Dan’s early Colt # 1 derringers were cased in this way with different grades & types of wood.  Mint new as made condition.  !!!!!SOLD!!!!!
