Returned to Consignor. This is a 1/3 scale “Arkansas Toothpick” Bowie knife made by master miniature maker Daniel Osterman of Oregon. 5 5/8″ long overall with a 4″ drop point blade, the spine of the blade with some very nice file work. German silver crossguard, pomel, escutcheons, and handle pins. Walnut handle. The left side of the blade near the guard with the maker’s mark “D.E.O. +”. The left side of the blade also engraved “+ ARKANSAS +, TOOTH, PICK” in three lines. Includes the original Osterman cocobolo hinged top casing with push button latch. The casing top inlaid with an unadorned oval German silver escutcheon. The interior French fit and lined in a medium blue velour. The knife is in mint condition, the casing has some very small bruises & nicks from handling. Returned to Consignor.
