This is a 1/2 scale Remington Elliott “Mississippi” derringer by master miniature maker Daniel Osterman of Oregon. 2 1/2″ long overall with a 1 5/16″ rifled barrel of about .187 caliber. Engraved silver plated frame with 95% coverage of the sides & top. Fire blue barrel, case hardened hammer & trigger. Two piece bone grips with nickel silver escutcheons and a single fire blue screw entering from the left side. Yellow brass bead type front sight. The bottom of the grip engraved D.E.O.+. The bottom of the barrel stamped with the serial number 25. Checkered hammer spur. The hammer with only full cock like the original. Complete with the original Osterman Remington green lift top cardboard box, the interior bottom French fit and lined in a dark green velour. Dan didn’t make very many of these. !!!!!SOLD!!!!!
