!!!!!SOLD!!!!!  This is a 1/3 scale “J. Teufe of Philadelphia” clip point Bowie knife made by master miniature maker Daniel Osterman of Junction City, Oregon, probably about 40 years ago.  4 5/8″ long overall with a 3 1/4″ steel clip point blade.  The left side of the blade marked “D.E.O. +”, in script.  One piece carved ivory handle.  The handles have inlaid German silver rectangular escutcheons on both sides.  Nickel silver guard.  Complete with the original Osterman walnut hinged top coffin shaped case with wood integral walnut hinge & push button latch.  The top with a nice silver wire inlay.  The interior French fit & lined in a green felt.  The bottom with a ribbon dust ledge around the knife.  This is an exact miniature of the Full size Bowie knife shown on page 61 of  “The Antique Bowie Knife Book by Adams, Voyles, & Moss”.  It’s been a while since I’m had any Osterman knives for sale!  Mint new condition.  Stock # CK-205.  !!!!!SOLD!!!!!
