Project Description

!!!!!SOLD!!!!!  This is a 1/2 scale Smith & Wesson number 1 revolver made by master miniature maker Daniel E. Osterman of Oregon about 25 years ago.  3 1/2″ long overall with a 1 19/32″ octagon barrel of .110 caliber.  Silver plated steel frame and grip straps, the balance of the metal parts nicely polished and blued.  The top of the barrel professionally hand engraved “D. E. OSTERMAN & SON +”, reading correctly when held in the left hand.  The serial number, 2, is stamped into the bottom of the gripstrap.  Checkered hammer spur.  Brass blade type front sight.  The rear sight looks like a spring coming over the top of the frame from front to back with a “V” notch at the rear.  Two piece rosewood grips with nickel silver escutcheons and a single screw entering from the left side.  Complete with the original purple lift top cardboard box.  the interior bottom French fit & lined in a gray cloth.  This is one of only twelve of these that Dan made.  Mint new as made condition.  !!!!!SOLD!!!!!
