!!!!!SOLD!!!!! This is a beautifully made gold plated mechanical pencil rifle made by Clark. 4 3/8″ long with the pencil retracted, 5″ long with the pencil extended. The mechanical pencil end is extended by sliding the small pin or button at the bottom rear of the barrel forward along a slot in the barrel bottom. The lead is then advanced or retracted by twisting the end of the pencil. The left side of the barrel near the breach is marked “Clark, 20 Old Bond St”, in two lines. The right side of the barrel near the breach is marked “Pd 137827”, upside down. The buttplate area, both sides of the buttstock, and the forearm show very fine checkering. The sides and bottom of the action are nicely engraved. I’ve never seen one of these before, but I suspect this was made in the 1950’s – 1970’s. Stock # KD-18. !!!!!SOLD!!!!!
