Project Description

!!!!!SOLD!!!!!  Although at first glance this looks like a Tippmann 1/2 scale .22 long rifle rimfire caliber Browning Model 1919 A-4, it is actually a non-functional Chinese made model.  These came into the country about 20 years ago, and I remember buying them when I worked for Imperial Miniature Armory.  There were some other models also like a Maxim, a 1917 water cooled Browning .30 caliber, and a M2-HB “Ma Deuce” .50 caliber.  24″ long overall including the tripod and 12 1/2″ wide at the rear of the tripod.  The gun itself is 20 1/2″ long including the pistol grip, the barrel is 11 1/2″ long with a .334″ bore.  All steel construction except for the two piece wood grips.  This model looks really good on the outside.  The sights, the tripod, and the  traverse & elevation mechanisms are really well made and accurate.  The down side is there are no internal parts.  The top cover doesn’t even open.  There are a few finish blemishes, mostly on the tripod crossbar, and one small knurled set screw is missing from the bottom of the tripod crossbar.  Includes a cloth cartridge belt with five solid brass dummy cartridges for display purposes.  Makes a nice decoration in the gun room if you can’t afford a $7.5K Tippmann!!!!  !!!!!SOLD!!!!!
