Project Description
!!!!!SOLD!!!!! Although at first glance this looks like a Tippmann 1/2 scale .22 magnum rimfire caliber Browning Model M2-HB .50 caliber heavy machine gun, it is actually a non-functional Chinese made model. These came into the country about 25 years ago, and I remember buying dozens of them when I worked for Imperial Miniature Armory. There were other models also, like the Maxim water cooled machine gun, 1917 Browning .30 caliber water cooled machine gun, and 1919 A-4 Browning .30 caliber air cooled machine guns. 36″ long overall including the tripod, 18 1/2″ wide at the rear of the tripod. The gun itself is 30 1/4″ long including the spade grips, the barrel is 18 1/2″ long with about a .25 caliber bore. All steel construction with a Parkerized finish except for the two wood spade grips. This model looks really good on the outside. The sights, the tripod, and the traverse & elevation mechanisms are really well made and accurate. The down side is there are no internal parts. The top cover doesn’t even open. There are a few finish blemishes, I’d call it 98+%. Makes a nice decoration in the gun room if you can’t afford a $12K Tippmann!!! This is the first one of these I have been able to offer in over 2 years! !!!!!SOLD!!!!!
