Project Description
This is a 1/2 scale Remington Model 1895 over/under .41 caliber rimfire derringer by master miniature maker Carmen Gianforte of Tennessee. The derringer is still in the white as Carmen made it. The serial # “14” is stamped into the bottom rear of the barrel, only visible with the barrels opened. The two piece grips are checkered cast black resin, and have brass escutcheons and a single screw entering from the left side. 2 1/2″ long overall with 1 1/2″ barrels of .197 caliber. All machined steel construction, the frame and barrels machined from steel castings. Fully functional including the articulated firing pin & extractor. The top of the barrel properly marked with the Remington Ilion, N.Y. barrel address. Includes the original green cardboard lift top box. The interior bottom lined with a piece of pink foam. The interior lid with the Remington lid label. One end of the exterior box top has a Remington label. Mint new as made condition. This just needs to be sent to your favorite engraver, then to Doug Turnbull for final finishing. A great opportunity to duplicate your full size Remington antique. Stock # CK-224. Price: $2,000.00.
