!!!!!SOLD!!!!! This is an antique Turkish miquelet flintlock rifle by an unknown maker probably dating to the mid 1700’s. This may be a miniature, or could be just a small gun. Though the stock looks like that of a rifle, it very well may actually be a pistol. Confused? Me too! 8 3/4″ long overall with a 3 5/8″ octagon smoothbore barrel of about .32 caliber. Beautifully carved ebony one piece stock. All the metal parts are steel. The piece is very ornately engraved. The stock has some damage in several areas which are shown in the photos. The hammer has both half and full cock. A very rare and early piece. Miquelet flintlocks are very rarely seen for sale, especially one in miniature! The pin securing the forearm has been lost & will need to be replaced. !!!!!SOLD!!!!!
