Project Description
This is an antique 1/3 scale miniature British 1853 pattern cavalry saber marked Reeves on the top of the blade near the guard. 10 3/4″ long overall with a 9 1/4″ steel blade with blood groove. The last 2 1/2″ of the top of the blade sharpened. The right side of the blade marked near the guard with what looks like a crown over “B”, over “13”, over “EX”. The handles looks to be ebony and are retained by five steel rivets. There is a leather portapee that looks to be made from some kind of reptile. Probably made in the mid to late 1800’s. Overall a high quality sword in nice condition showing some age staining and small rust spots on the blade. Price: $150.00.
