Yes, I know, this is not my normal fare, but I received an old collection from a Texas oil Barron on consignment that was put together from the 1950’s to the 1980’s, and in the collection were several antique cast iron cap pistols. This is by far the rarest and most desirable of the bunch. This is an antique cast iron “NIGGER HEAD” toy cap pistol. This is a very rare, desirable, and difficult to find antique cap pistol, and the only one I have ever seen or heard of. 4 1/2″ long overall. The left side of the frame marked “NIGGER HEAD” in cast in raised relief letters. The right side of the frame similarly marked “PAT, MAR 22, 1887”. Excellent condition and mechanically perfect. Antique cast iron cap pistols are not my area of expertise. I have done my best with the description. Use the photos, as they tell no lies!
