!!!!!SOLD!!!!! This is an antique drop trigger, screw off barrel, percussion muff pistol, probably made in Belgium in the mid to late 1800’s. The pistol is missing the ivory grip which was removed by the British auction house I bought it from because otherwise they could not ship it to me. 1 9/16″ long overall with a 17/32″ round tapered barrel. The muzzle of the barrel with the typical notched in the bore for using a wrench to remove the barrel when stuck. The frame, hammer, and barrel are steel, and very nicely engraved. There is some rust, mostly in the area of the nipple & rear tang screw. The action works fine, the hammer with both half & full cock, and the trigger drops down correctly when brought to full cock. A nice project for someone with the skills to make a new grip, and worth three times my asking price repaired! Stock # TDM-10. !!!!!SOLD!!!!!
