!!!!!SOLD!!!!! This is an antique drop trigger, screw off barrel, percussion muff pistol, probably made in Belgium in the mid to late 1800’s. The pistol is missing the ivory grip which was removed by the British auction house I bought it from because otherwise they could not ship it to me. 1 11/16″ long overall with a 27/32″ round tapered cannon type barrel with reinforcement rings & a swelled muzzle. The frame, hammer, and barrel are steel, and very nicely engraved. There is some rust, mostly in the area of the nipple & tang screws. The hammer spring is good and the trigger drops down correctly when brought fully back, but the hammer will not catch on half or full cock. Probably has a broken sear spring. A nice project for someone with the skills to make a new grip, and worth five times my asking price repaired! Stock # TDM-11. !!!!!SOLD!!!!!
