Project Description

!!!!!SOLD!!!!!  This is an antique 2mm double action ring trigger six shot pinfire revolver, probably made in Germany in the late 1900’s.  1 3/4″ long overall without the lanyard ring, with a 21/32″ octagon barrel of about .066 caliber.  These early 2mm pinfire revolvers use a different cartridge than the later Berloque single shot 2mm pinfires.  The early revolver cartridges are much longer and 1.85mm in diameter, whereas the later Berloque single shot cartridges are short and 2.17mm in diameter.  Nickel plated steel finish with two piece mother of pearl grips.  The grips have nickel plated screw escutcheons and a single screw entering from the left side.  There is a hinged loading gate on the left side that hinges backward from a pivot screw at the bottom, so the cylinder can be loaded.  There is also an ejector rod on the left side to remove the spent or loaded cartridges.  Bead front sight, an unusual ring trigger with a very short spur.  Perfect mechanically, the nickel finish showing some wear with about 95% remaining.  The grips are perfect.  The gold lanyard ring, chain, and clasp is a later replacement.  A very rare seldom seen antique miniature revolver.  !!!!!SOLD!!!!!
