!!!!!SOLD!!!!! Alex Baez 1/5 Scale 14 Karat White Gold Colt # 3 “Thuer” Derringer With Ivory Grips !!!!!SOLD!!!!!

!!!!!SOLD!!!!!  This is a 1/5 scale Colt # 3 derringer made of 14 karat white gold by master jeweler Alex Baez of Los Angeles, California.  15/16″ long overall with a 1/2″ round barrel.  The barrel,  frame, hammer, trigger, & extractor are solid 14 karat white gold.  The two piece ivory grips are held in place by a single brass screw entering from the right side.  Fully functional, the hammer has both half & full cock, and the ejector is functional.  Housed in a square clear plastic lift top box with a gray foam insert.  In the bottom of the clear plastic box is a small piece of paper with a photo of this piece & the maker & description.  On the back side in pencil it says this piece was featured in the Miniature Arms Journal on 1/1/11.  It has been seven years since I have been able to offer one of these for sale.  Alex Baez passed away in May of 2019.  Near mint condition.  Stock # GS-01.  !!!!!SOLD!!!!!
