!!!!!SOLD!!!!! This is a 1/6 scale Colt # 3 derringer made of 14 karat gold & sterling silver by Alex Baez of Los Angeles, California. 15/16″ long overall with a 15/32″ round barrel. The barrel & frame are solid 14 karat gold. The two piece Tiffany type grips are sterling silver, and held in place by a single brass screw entering from the left side. Fully functional, the hammer has both half & full cock, and the ejector will eject the dummy cartridge that is in the barrel across the room if you are not careful! Herschel Kopp engraved the COLT marking on the top of the barrel, & made the black pebble grain leather casing with push button latch. The interior is English fit and lined in red felt. There are two solid brass dummy cartridges in holes in the case, and one more in the chamber of the pistol. It has been many years since I have been able to offer one of these for sale. By the way, Alex Baez passed away this past May of 2019. Mint condition. !!!!!SOLD!!!!!
