Project Description

!!!!!SOLD!!!!!  This is a sterling silver 1/4 scale Colt single action army revolver made by Alex Baez in Los Angeles, California and Herschel Kopp in Cincinnati, Ohio.  3 1/4″ long overall with a 1 7/8″ barrel of .100 caliber.  It is made of sterling silver except for the steel springs, the yellow brass screws, and the mother of pearl two piece  grips.  7 1/2″ barrel, black powder frame, checkered hammer spur.  The silver treated to look like blue, which is actually a pleasing gray.  The top of the barrel pantagraph engraved “COLT’S PT. F.A. MFG. CO.  HARTFORD CT. U.S.A.”.  The left front of the frame similarly engraved  with the two patent dates, and the rampant horse Colt logo in a circle.  The right side of the frame faintly marked “A. FLETCHER”, probably the owner at one time.  The action is fully functional, and the hammer has the proper four clicks when cocked.  Checkered hammer spur.  Complete with the original Kopp hinged top walnut case with push button latch.  The interior bottom semi-French fit and lined in a red felt.  There is an inset full size .45 long Colt cartridge head in the interior bottom just under the barrel with the headstamp “W – W  45 COLT”.  The interior lid padded and lined in a red silk.  Mint new as made condition.  !!!!!SOLD!!!!!
