!!!!!SOLD!!!!!  This is a 1/5 scale Colt 1911 A1 in 14 karat white gold with ivory grips by master jeweler Alex Baez of California.  1 3/4″ long overall with a 3/4″ barrel of about .068 caliber.  All the parts are 14 karat white gold, except for the steel springs, and the ivory grips.  This piece is fully mechanically  functional.  The rear of the slide is serrated.   Includes six solid brass dummy cartridges in a small zip lock bag under the pillow the miniature rest on.  No markings, so this piece was probably made after Herschel Kopp passed.  Complete with a black leatherette jewelry case with clear plastic lid & flip latch.  Near mint new condition.  I have sold a large number of yellow gold Alex Baez Colt 1911 A1’s over the last 30 years, but this is the first white gold one I have ever seen!  The pistol weighs .7 ounce.  With gold at about $3,053.00/ounce today, that calculates to almost $2,137.00 just in gold value alone!  Stock # RC-22.  !!!!!SOLD!!!!!
