This is a 1/4 scale Winchester 1866 carbine made by master jeweler Alex Baez of Los Angeles, California. 9 7/8″ long overall with a 5″ octagon barrel of about .088 caliber. The receiver, sideplates, cartridge lifter, buttplate, & screws are brass. The balance of the parts are blued steel. The stock & forearm are very black ebony. Checkered hammer spur. Two leaf folding carbine rear sight. Fully functional with the exception of the magazine which looks to have no spring or follower. 98% condition with just some expected tarnish to the brass. This is the first one of these I have had in over 10 years. Alex passed away in May of 2019, so it’s possible his miniatures will see a rise in value. Price: $2,250.00.
