Project Description
This is a 1/3 scale Ogontz Tool Company wooden smooth plane circa mid 1800’s made by Albert Osterman. 5 3/8″ long X 1″ wide X 2 1/2″ tall including the handle. The base of the plane looks to be maple & the handle mahogany. The front end of the base stamped with the initials “A.M.O.”. Steel adjustable nicely polished blade with a maple wedge to secure it in place. Mint new condition. I haven’t been able to offer one these for sale in well over 10 years. Stock # CK-200.
