Project Description
!!!!!SOLD!!!!! This is a 1/6 scale side by side break open shotgun made by or for Abercrombie & Fitch. It is solid .800 silver & so marked on the butt. There is also a hallmark on the butt that reads (five point star) 1982 AF. This was probably a promotional item or a specialty item made for sale at Father’s Day or Christmas. 5 5/8″ long overall with 3 1/2″ barrels. The stock, triggerguard, forearm, and rear sling swivel are polished silver. The barrels, takedown lever, and forward sling swivel are chemically blued. The barrels will break down when the takedown lever is pushed to the left, just like most break open shotguns. Otherwise, there are no internal parts & it is not functional. The stock & forearm are nicely checkered (cast in), and there is some modest engraving, cast in, on the sides & bottom of the receiver. This is the only one of these I have ever seen. From the personal collection of Joel Morrow. Stock # JM-91. !!!!!SOLD!!!!!
