Mike Barrett 1/2 Scale Single Shot Lever Action Dropping Block Sporting Rifle Of His Own Design Engraved By Roger Sampson & Checkered By James Corpe.

This is a 1/2 scale single shot dropping lever action block rifle of his own design made by master miniaturist Mike Barrett.  Mike was a fierce competitor in rifle competitions, & probably made this miniature of a full size rifle me made for himself to compete in matches.  22 3/16″ long overall with a 14 1/16″ part octagon part round rifled barrel of .22 caliber.  Sporting front & rear sights.  Checkered hammer spur & rear sight elevator thumb piece.  High polish blued barrel, sights, trigger, buttplate, pins, & screws.  Case colored dropping block, hammer, nosecap, & lever.  The receiver is finished in a French gray.  The receiver beautifully engraved by master engraver Roger Sampson & so marked on the bottom rear of the receiver.  Mr. Sampson also engraved the buttplate with the name “BARRETT”, & the top flat of the barrel “M. BARRETT DESIGN 1992”.  Mr. Sampson also did all the gold wire inlays on the breech end of the barrel & the borders of the frame.  Nicely figured American walnut checkered & finished by master stock maker James Corpe.  A wonderful piece sure to be a great addition to your collection!  Mint condition.  Stock # CK-59.  Price:  $8,500.00.
