!!!!!SOLD!!!!! This is a 47% scale Colt “Buntline Special” revolver with 12″ barrel as issued by America Remembers. Fully functional, but non-firing. These were made by Uberti in Italy under license from Colt for America Remembers. America Remembers was the successor to the United States Historical Society. This is the “Presidential Edition”. It is beautifully factory engraved and fitted with one grips with a nice mellow aged patina and showing some subtle but pretty grain.. 8 1/4″ long overall with a 5 5/8″ long rifled barrel of .21 caliber. Blue finish with the exception of the frame, loading gate, & hammer which are case colored. The top of the barrel is roll stamped with the one line italics COLT barrel address. The left front of the frame marked with the patent dates in two lines. The caliber marking “.45 CAL” stamped into the left rear side of the triggerguard. The engraving is very well executed with about 70% coverage. The serial number “1970” stamped into the bottom of the frame & triggerguard. 970 stamped into the bottom of the backstrap. The top of the frame has the long range stand up adjustable sight. Missing the original America Remembers glass top casing. Not many of these were made or sold and they are rarely available. !!!!!SOLD!!!!!
