These 4mm pinfire dummy cartridges were made for ring guns by Carmen Gianforte, a master miniature firearms maker, a master machinist, and also a past President of the Miniature Arms Society. The cartridges are .156″ in diameter, .306″ long, and have a small lead ball seated flush with the case mouth. These are made for the 4, 5, and some 6 shot ring guns. Since all these ring guns, and their cartridges, are hand made, I do not guarantee them to fit in the cylinder of your ring. They are made to fill the holes in the case. I don’t even guarantee they will fit your case, so take measurements and confirm they will fit before ordering. It’s possible you may have to use a drill to slightly enlarge the holes in your case so these will fit. Each dummy cartridge takes 39 steps, and over an hour to make, by a very skilled machinist who would normally get $75.00 – $125.00+/hour if he wasn’t retired and a friend of mine!
